Ortovox Safety Academy
Get the knowledge !Ski mountaineering or freeriding requires a specific set of skills. The conditions of the terrain and of the snowpack can change from one day to the other, and a safe place can become a deadly trap in a matter of hours, and the statistics are showing that a proper training is increasing the chances of survival.
Together with our partner Ortovox, we're proposing different levels of training for off-piste skiing and touring. On top of learning how to avoid hazards, you will become more knowledgeable and efficient if an accident happens. You will learn how to use your safety kit, how to organize a rescue operation and how to provide first help.
...and we'll keep in mind that a good day out skiing always starts with a good planning !
